

Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 22, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Lena (Madirirnoski) Pinkus.
Devoted sister of David and the late Abraham, Joseph, Esther, and Danny.
Cherished aunt of Marie, Nancy, Joan, Janice, David, Stephen, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Suzanne, Donna, Ruth, Sandy, Jenny, Heather, Courtney, the late David.
Sister-in-law of Betty, Isabel and the late Lillian.
Anna was an excellent student and graduated from Framingham State College in 1925.
The family lived in Dorchester. When her mother became ill, Anna assumed the role of homemaker for her father, brothers & sisters. She and her family later lived for many years in Hingham.
Following the deaths of both of her parents, she received her Driver’s License and worked in a pottery shop. She also volunteered in the Hingham Public Schools, the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton and the New England Aquarium in Boston.
Anna died peacefully at the Coyne Health Care Center where she was attentively cared for.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday September 7, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Beth Israel Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA.
