

Flanzbaum, Anne E. (Wartel) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister succumbs to her four year long battle with cancer on Tuesday August 9, 2011, at her daughter Carol’s home surrounded by her family. She will be missed by her four children Sandra Boczenowski of Billerica, Mark Flanzbaum of Framingham, Eric Flanzbaum of Easton, Carol Olecki of North Grosvenordale, Connecticut, their respective spouses, nine grandchildren, extended family, friends and colleagues. Anne was the wife of the late Albert Flanzbaum and beloved daughter of the late Charles and Goldie Wartel. She and her four siblings David Wartel (late), Judy Miller, Melvin Wartel and Sidney Wartel shared a close bond. She grew up in the Grove Hall area of Roxbury and began her married life on Angel Street in Dorchester with, Albert, her childhood sweetheart. She raised four children. She treasured her family, her life as a mother, her art work and her Jewish heritage. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12 at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Interment at Linwood Memorial Park in Randolph. Memorial observance will follow at Fuller Village from 1PM until sundown and will resume at her late residence on Sunday, August 14 from 2-5 PM and on Monday from 6-9 PM.
