Arleen Sherman, aged 84 of Randolph passed on February 23, 2026.
Loving mother of Michael Sherman (Margaret) and Stacy Luddy (David). Beloved grandmother of Ryan, Alex and Vivian. Fond sister of the late Irvin Pinkofsky (Elinor). Fond sister-in-law of the late Alan Sherman (Rochelle) and Phyllis Portnoy (Michael). Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She had a lifelong interest in the medical field and after raising her children, she worked for several years helping patients as a home health aide.
She enjoyed spending time with family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She loved animals and had cherished pets during her life. She had a passion for movies, television and music of all kinds and was always a star at entertainment trivia. In younger years, she loved the beach and made frequent trips to Nantasket beach with family every summer. She had a warm demeanor and an infectious laugh and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday March 1, 2026 at 11 AM at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline. Burial will take place immediately following services at Staro Konstantinov Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. There will be a luncheon to follow.
