Ferrell, Barbara Linda (Merlin) of Marlborough formerly of Milton died peacefully among loved ones on April 18, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Dr. Samuel A. Merlin and Dorothy (Abugov) Merlin of Milton. Devoted life partner of Barry Luftig and his children Selena Cousin, Eric Luftig, and Jen Singer. Adored mother of Josh Ferrell and his partner Jennifer Fusco. Cherished grandmother of Owen Ferrell. Loving sister of James Merlin, Margie Holzer and Irene Maruchnik. Funeral service at Congregation Beth El of Sudbury River Valley, 105 Hudson Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 on Friday, April 21 at 10 AM; followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Marlborough Senior Citizen Center, 40 New Street, Marlborough, MA 01752, a place that she enjoyed volunteering at and a place of many friends.
