Barbara (Steinzig) Solomon, of Cambridge on Sunday, July 5, 2015. Beloved wife of Leonard Solomon, loving mother of Christopher and Jesse Solomon, and adoring grandmother of Nicholas and Victoria Solomon. She was also the faithful mom/protector of Tatanka, her toy poodle. Barbara was an artist and storyteller who possessed a gentle, generous soul. A memorial service will be held at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Monday, July 13 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Doctors Without Borders and to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
