Bernice (Arluck) Wald, age 97, passed away on October 26, 2022.
Born in Boston, she was the wife of the late Sam and daughter of the late Bessie and Jack Arluck, and lived in the city of Boston her entire life. She was a woman of extraordinary warmth and compassion. The matriarch of the family, she
will be missed by her children, Robert (Karen) Wald of Sharon, MA, Rochelle (Phil) D"Arcangelo of New Orleans, LA, Judy (Mark) Bernard of Newton, MA, David Wald of Scottsdale, AZ, Andy (Jacqueline) of Garrett Park, MD and Carolyn (Jeff) Budd of Alpharetta, GA and by her grandchildren, Amy and Jonathan Wald, Sam and Josh D'Arcangelo, Jackson Bernard, Samantha and Ben Wald, Raphael Wald, Amanda and Julie Budd.
She was fiercely devoted to her family and her immediate and extended family returned that love. She had a knack for remembering names, places and details about her family and loved to play games, especially Scrabble.
She was a life member of Hebrew SeniorLife and Maimonides School.
