Betty R. Tanner

Betty R. Tanner, of Framingham on April 9, 2015, our Dear Mother, Nana and Great Nana, Betty R. Tanner, joined her late husband Eliot A. Tanner in heaven. The wonderful, devoted mother of Fern and George Ferry Jr., Myra and James Earl Halstead, Kim Bloom Draper, and the late Joyce Fleischer. She also leaves her 8 grandchildren; Adam Mathew and Aimee Robin Ferry, Heather Ann and Stephen Eric Grossman, Alexander Eliot Halstead, Rachel and Zachary Fleischer, Jonathan and Jeanne Bloom, Emily and Jessie Goldberg. Also she was the proud great Nana of Hannah Rose and Dylan Connor Grossman, who brought her great joy in her golden years! She also leaves Libbey Kaner, and Shirley Ratzkoff, her two sister-in-laws, who she considered her sisters. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, who all loved her. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Annie Ratzkoff. She joined her late brothers Abraham, Phil, and George Ratzkoff. Services will be held at Levine Chapels 470 Harvard Street Brookline, on Monday, April 13 at 10:00 am. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. We will be sitting Monday night 5-9pm and all day Tuesday, April 14, at the home of Myra & Earl Halstead, 25 Bradford Rd, Framingham, MA.
