Brenda Lee Aizley (née Tocman), of Lexington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born on October 5, 1941, Brenda grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and later Newton, Massachusetts. She was the beloved daughter of the late Irene Siff Tocman and Arthur Tocman. Brenda went on to raise her family in Lexington, Massachusetts, where she built a life centered on love, devotion, and family.
Brenda was the loving wife for 57 years of her beloved husband, Frank “Frankie” Eli Aizley. Frankie stood tirelessly by her side in sickness and in health until his own passing in November 2025. Their bond was deep, enduring, and the foundation of Brenda’s life.
She was a devoted and beloved mother to Arthur Aizley and his wife, Cheryle, of Cranbury, New Jersey, and to Jeffrey Aizley and his husband, Dana Chapman, of Provincetown, Massachusetts. She was a cherished grandmother to Jasmine Aizley and Alexander Aizley of Cranbury, New Jersey, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.
Brenda was the beloved sister of Sheila and Donald Frankel of Needham, Massachusetts, and Michael and Sharyn Tocman of Brockton, Massachusetts. She was a loving aunt to Aaron Frankel, Amy Frankel, Scott Tocman, and Laura-Beth Tocman.
She was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School and pursued higher education with dedication and purpose. Brenda studied at the University of Massachusetts, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University, and later received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University.
Following graduation, Brenda worked as a social worker at the Fernald State School in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she tirelessly advocated for developmentally disabled adults and helped place many into meaningful careers. She later worked briefly as a second-grade teacher in Billerica, Massachusetts, before choosing to devote herself fully to her family as a homemaker.
Brenda loved shopping, dining out, and traveling, but above all else, her greatest passion was her family—her beloved Frankie, her children, and her grandchildren—whom she loved with all her heart.
A service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, Massachusetts. Burial will take place immediately following services at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford Street, Lexington, Massachusetts.
