Carol Green, 81, of Cambridge, MA, passed away on Tuesday, February 25.
Carol was born in Schenectady, NY on May 13, 1943 to Milton and Ann Chodikoff. She grew up in Troy, NY, with her older brother Norman.
After graduating from Russell Sage College, she moved to Philadelphia, where she was set up on a blind date with Edward Green. They married six months later in 1966 and remained devoted to each other for 59 years.
Carol and Edward eventually settled in Lexington, MA, where they raised their two children, Stephen and Keri. Carol loved nights out at the theater, playing piano, and taking long walks (before it was trendy, as she liked to say). Above all, she cherished family, always putting them first. She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness.
Carol is survived by her husband, Edward Green, her children Stephen Green (Diane) of Belmont and Keri Green (Adam) of Arlington, and her beloved grandchildren Ashley, Eli, and Ava. She is also survived by her brother, Norman Charles (Barbara) of New York, NY.
A temple service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Temple Isaiah, 55 Lincoln Street, Lexington, MA 02421. The family will be receiving visitors from 9:15 AM-10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
