David Feinberg, age 90, of Chestnut Hill and Hull, passed away on January 10, 2026.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Laurie Feinberg, who died just 2½ months earlier, after almost 67 years of marriage. David was the loving father of Jodi Freedman and her late husband Alan, and of Joyce Kaplan and her husband Peter. He was an incredible Papa to Melissa Bucken and her husband Kevin, Lindsay Medoff and her husband Matthew, Matthew Freedman, Zachary, Samantha, and Stephanie Kaplan, and a cherished great-grandfather to Lily Medoff.
David was the devoted brother of Michael Feinberg and his wife Mary, and of Andrea Butler and her late husband Doug. He was also the dear brother-in-law of Ronald Pach and his late wife Diane, and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
David will be remembered for his infinite knowledge, wisdom, and love of books and puzzles, as well as the many strong friendships he nurtured over the years. He treasured his summers in Hull, sitting on the porch sipping gin and tonics, and entertaining in the yard. He was a proud 50-year New England Patriots season ticket holder, the Past Master of his Masonic Temple, and active for many years in his synagogue.
Above all, David’s heart belonged to his friends and family, who will forever carry his light and love in their hearts.
Funeral services will be private.
