David H. Sobell

David H. Sobell, age 70, of South Boston, formerly of Needham, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. Loving father of Amanda Sobell. Devoted son of the late Hyman and Selma Sobell. Beloved brother of Deborah Sobell and her husband Richard Prussin and dear uncle of Hannah and Gabriel Prussin. Former husband of Jean Sobell.

David was passionate about sports. He knew every fact about Boston Sports. He was a true friend to so many and he will be missed by all who were lucky to be in his life.

A funeral service will be held at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Sunday, January 18 at 10:00 am with burial to immediately follow.
