Elaine Roth, most recently of Sudbury, MA has passed at the age of 90. Born Elaine Starr in Memphis, TN on 12/19/1933, she graduated from Central High School and in her twenties married Mortimer Roth. The two met in New York and later moved to Boston. The couple settled in Randolph in the late 1950’s. She was active in her community and worked in a number of establishments in and around the Randolph area including Lombardo’s and the Braintree Library.
Elaine was predeceased by her sister Yudice, brother Stanley, cousin Maurice, and husband Mortimer. She is survived by her daughter, Lesley, son Michael, son-in-law Howard, daughter-in-law Susan, and grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Samuel, David and Zachary. She will always be known for her love of family, depth of friendship and spirituality.
There will be a chapel service on Sunday, June 30th at 1:00pm at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to CJP, Parkinson’s Foundation or a charity of your choice.
