Elinor (Wildstein) Harris of Newton, on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Loving wife of Robert for 55 years and daughter of the late Ida and Julius Wildstein. Devoted mother to Mitchell Harris & his wife Frances of IL, and the late Linda Hanau & her surviving husband Michael of MA. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin and Danielle Hanau, step-grandmother of Daniel (Kathy) McJacobson and Simon Jacobson, and step-great-grandmother of Martin McJacobson. Dear sister of Gerald (Carol) Wildstein of FL. Elinor was the long-time bookkeeper at Chestnut Hill School, a valued friend to many, and a skilled quilter. Her family enjoys fine examples of her handiwork.
Services at The Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Sunday, November 15 at 12:30pm. Burial at Crawford St. Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance at Evans Park, 430 Centre Street, Newton: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, November 15-17, from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
