Emily K. Perlmutter

Emily Perlmutter of Charlestown, formerly of Brighton on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at age 46. Much loved and very special daughter of Richard and Reenie (Cutler) Perlmutter. Loving sister of Jason Perlmutter and devoted aunt of Nina Rose Cohen-Perlmutter. Cherished granddaughter of the late Miriam and Dr. Irving Cutler, and Edna and Dr. Lawrence Perlmutter. Emily had a unique relationship with each of her aunts and uncles, Dr. Carl and Linda Perlmutter, Jerry and Nancy Cutler, Marc and Mary Jo Cutler, Bruce Cutler and Margaret Pate. Emily will be deeply missed by her significant other Matthew Bander, her cousins and many friends, along with her colleagues at Suffolk University.

Emily truly appreciated and her family thanks the compassionate and exceptional medical care she received at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, especially from Dr. David McDermott, Virginia Seery R.N. and the extraordinary nurses and nurse’s aides, who became her friends.

Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:30pm. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Following the interment, the family will receive guests through 7:00PM at the home of Mary Jo & Marc Cutler, Jamaicaway Tower & Townhouses, 111 Perkins St., Jamaica Plain. The family will also receive guests at their home at Flagship Wharf, 197 Eighth St., Charlestown Navy Yard on Saturday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
