

GLICK, (nee Graubart) Fannie “Fay”, of Andover, MA, formerly of Framingham and Coconut Creek, Florida, entered into rest March 15, 2017, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Glick. Devoted mother of Ruth Asher of Somerville, MA and Marla Behrman of New York City. Cherished grandmother of Larry Kramer and his wife Chloe and loving great-grandmother of Caroline Kramer, Olivia Kramer and Alexandra Kramer, of New York City. Fay was a Holocaust survivor from Poland who survived the war as a teenager working in a munitions factory in Germany. She lost her entire family including her parents and three sisters in the concentration camps. She met her husband Benjamin Glick when he came to the displaced persons camp she was in looking for his sister. The Glick's spent time in Germany and Israel before moving to the United States in 1957, originally to Haverhill and then Framingham where Mr. Glick owned a tailor shop for more than 30 years. Fannie (Fay) worked for Gorin's Department Store in Framingham, Roman's in the Natick Mall and Lane Bryant in the old Shopper's World mall for more than 20 years. She and Benjamin retired to Florida in 1991 where they made many new friends and traveled frequently. Fannie (Fay) was a woman of strength, loved by all who knew her, and was involved in many events, groups and her temple in her retirement in Coconut Creek, Florida before returning to the Boston area in 2011. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline on Friday, March 17 at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery, 40 Fairview Avenue, Natick.
