Fernando Andrade Buchalla

Fernando Andrade Buchalla of Revere, MA, formerly of Santos, Brazil, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Alana Zion Buchalla.

In addition to his cherished wife, Alana, those left to treasure Fernando’s memory include his loving sister, Scarlet Ancelevicz of São Paulo, Brazil, his great friend as brother Henrique Barbosa and his family, his nephews Paulo & Yan and their families, all of his cherished cousins, numerous close friends whom he loved as members of his family and dear colleagues over the years. Fernando was preceded in death by his dear mother Maria do Carmo Andrade, Father Azziz Buchalla and beloved brothers Junior, Paulo, and Marcio.

We remember Fernando as a kind generous loving man with a smile to light up the room. His favorite place was the beach, from Brazil to America where – through tireless work and dedication and true friendship – he lived the American dream as a proud citizen, honored by those who forged the path before him. He was beloved by Alana’s late mother Deborah and father, Rabbi Leonard Zion who married Fernando and Alana 23 years ago. We have been blessed by Fernando’s life.

Funeral services will take place at on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. The service will be available via livestream at the following link: www.levinelive.com/fernandobuchalla
