Gerald A. Berlin, of Cambridge, on Saturday, September 1, 2012. For 60 years, he was the husband of Miriam H. (Haskell) Berlin. Father of Jeremy A. Berlin of West Tisbury, Joshua D. Berlin of Arlington and Matthew A. Berlin & Simone R. Liebman of Cambridge. Grandfather of Olivia, Eli, Silas, William and Chlöe. A memorial service will be held at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Tuesday, September 4 at 12:00 noon. Burial will be private. Memorial observance at his late residence on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30-8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Civil Liberties Union of MA, 211 Congress St., Boston, MA 02110.
