

Harriet Kasloff Berman of Dover, formerly of Newton, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Beloved wife of Stanley J. Berman. Devoted mother of Jessica Boatright, Jonah Berman, Eliza Berman, Eric Boatright and Elizabeth Keeley. Loving grandmother of Nora Boatright. Treasured aunt to Jeffrey, Brian, Daniel, Christopher and Melissa Carver, Jamie, Lauren, Kara, and Erin Berman, and her four great nephews and great niece. Survived by her mother-in-law, Esther Berman. Sister of the late Tina Carver. Preceded in death by her parents George and Ruth Kasloff. Dr. Berman, a clinical psychologist, was a leader in providing psychosocial care to cancer patients and their families at The Wellness Community, Facing Cancer Together, and in her private practice. She was also an esteemed professor and mentor to her students at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Road, Wellesley on Sunday, May 6 at 3:00 PM. Shiva will be observed at the Berman home beginning immediately following the burial until Friday, May 11. The family will be accepting visitors during the hours of 2:00pm and 9:00 pm, ending Friday at 4:00 pm.
