Harriet B. (Harnch) Singer

Harriet B (Harnch) Singer of Dedham, formerly of Newton passed away peacefully in her home at age 94 on June 10, 2023. For 58 years the cherished wife of the late Leon H. Singer. Devoted mother of Alan & Leslie Singer. She is predeceased by her loving children, Dr. Dana Jay Singer, Dr. Gail Harrison and Risa S. Rosengard. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Rachel Niemiec, Daniel and David Singer; Thomas, Sarah, and Benjamin Harrison; Mia and Olivia Rosengard. Loving great-grandmother of Juliana Singer and Owen and Laila Niemiec. Dear sister to the late Jack and Harold Harnch. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, friends, and her late husband’s loving family in Israel.

Harriet, in addition to being the proud Matriarch of her family, was a kind and passionate person, loved by anyone who met her. She was strong and courageous, and she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

A funeral will be held at Stanetsky Chapels - Canton, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10 AM.

Reception immediately following the burial at the home of Alan and Leslie through 3:00pm. Shiva will be observed Tuesday (06/13) and Wednesday (06/14) from 6:30-9pm with Minyan at 7PM.
