

Hank was the son of the late Dr. Harold L. and Harriett Escowitz Shulman. Survivors include his sons Eric and Brian, his grandchildren Ian, Sasha, and Jack, nephews David and Stephen, and niece Cindy, and many other relatives. He was previously married to Flo Shulman. He is predeceased by his brother Neal Shulman and sister Esther Kelly.
Born and raised in Boston, Hank excelled in his academics and professional endeavors. His education included Boston Latin HS, a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard, and master of business administration from Wharton. He is a veteran, having served in the army in the Korean war.
He was remarkably skilled with numbers, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a terrific story teller; he formed particularly close relationships with his friends and clients. He had a notable devotion to his profession and had a successful career spanning more than six decades. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Sunday March 24, 2024 at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, followed by burial at the Meretz Cemetery, 19 Washington Street, Woburn, MA. Shiva will be observed on Sunday March 24 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at a place to be announced at the service.
