

Irma was known for her youthful outlook and zest for life and will be missed by many. Irma had a love of people of all generations and held close friendships and relationships that spanned all age groups. Known by many as Grammy and Auntie Irma, she was known for her fun personality, timeless beauty, and interest and love for others. Irma held a uniquely close relationship with her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom, in her own words, she loved madly.
Irma was predeceased by her husband Herb Bloom, her son Michael Bloom, and her parents Rose and Jacob Zack. Irma is survived by her daughter Ellen Bloom-Fields (David Fields), her grandchildren, Jenna, Michael (Lori), Zachary (Cydni) and Kacey (Max) as well as three great grandchildren Miles, Juliet, and Dezi, and her sister Annette Castaline.
A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Tuesday, May 21 at 12:45 pm. Memorial observance will be announced at the service.
