Jacob Sumner Jaffe, age 28 years, beloved son of Alison Poorvu Jaffe and Daniel G. Jaffe and cherished brother of Kayla Stephanie Jaffe, died on July 23, 2021. He is also survived by grandparents Lia and William Poorvu, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends whom he adored. His paternal grandparents Ilse and Warner Jaffe predeceased him.
Jacob would light up a room with his quick smile, generosity of spirit and magnetic personality. His thoughtfulness and genuine curiosity in all people and ideas allowed him to connect deeply with others. His love for family and everyone he encountered was boundless. He cared deeply about injustices large and small in the world and made all he touched better.
A private service was held on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021.
