Of Chestnut Hill, passed peacefully on September 23, 2025, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his parents, Nathan and Eva (Levine) Gropper, and his brother Joseph; Jerome was survived by his sister Joyce Liberman; nieces Laura Ibey and Dawna Snyder; nephews Michael Liberman and Christopher Gropper; and close friends Philip Rosenkranz and Lee Tarr.
Jerome graduated from Northeastern University and worked at various companies and institutions in the Boston area, including Digital Equipment Corp. and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
A graveside service will be held at Shepetovka, located at 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA, 02132, United States. The service is scheduled for September 26, 2025, from 12:00 pm.
