Joseph Daffner, age 93, of Newton, formerly of Florida and New York on Friday, October 9, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Adele (Greenberg). Devoted father of Dr. Kirk Daffner & his wife Lise and Gregg Daffner & his wife Gaelle. Loving grandfather of Molly, Jesse, Sam, and Leah. Brother of the late Jules Daffner, Mary Gordon, Ann Daffner, and Shirley Dubin. Dear friend of Martha Korman.
Services will be held at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 3:00pm. Burial will be in Florida. Family and friends are welcome to the home of Dr. Kirk Daffner following the service through 9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Alzheimer’s Program, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, c/o BWH Development Office, 116 Huntington Ave., 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02116.
