Louise Zelda Berenson

Louise Zelda Berenson (Freeman), age 83, of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Brookline, on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Loving and devoted mother of Heidi S. Berenson of Washington, DC, Marc Berenson & his wife Ruthie of Baltimore, and predeceased by her dear son Brett Berenson. Adored Bubbie B. of Meira and Tamar Berenson. Fond sister of the late Charlotte Reimer and sister-in-law of Bernice Etcoff and Beatrice Cooper. Cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews.

As an entrepreneur, Louise founded and owned Purple Panache, Ltd. in Quincy Market and is featured in the new 40th Anniversary Celebration Faneuil Hall Marketplace Neighborhood Guide.

Graveside services at Beth Shalom of Cambridge Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett on Monday, May 16 at 1:00pm. Memorial observance will be at the home of cousins Bill & Lois Shaevel, Cabot Estates, Jamaica Plain on Monday evening, May 16 from 6-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly, 30 Wallingford Road, Brighton, MA 02135.
