HOFFMAN, Marc L. – of Southbury, CT, formerly of Newton and Ashland, MA. Entered into rest peacefully with his family by his side on November 30, 2011, age 68. Beloved husband of Joyce (Brown) Hoffman. Dear son of the late Edward and Gertrude Hoffman. Devoted father of Amy Lynn Hoffman and her fiancé, William Eveleth, of Manhattan, NY and Greg Hoffman and his wife, Sarah Rodrigo-Hoffman, of Brighton, MA. Loving brother of the late Barbara Hoffman. Cherished grandfather of Casey Rodrigo-Hoffman. Adored uncle of Michael Hoffman and Scott Hoffman. A Green Beret and chief radio operator in the Vietnam War, Airman First Class Marc L. Hoffman was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in ground action against hostile forces in 1967. Graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton Street, Sharon, MA, on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 1:45PM.
