It's kind of shocking that it's been 10 years since grandpa died. I hope you're doing well wherever you are.

I was lucky enough to be a friend of this Gentle Man by way of the Simsbury Camera Club. I always enjoyed asking Nathan a camera or software question because I knew I was going to get not only a precise answer but a small piece of His years of knowledge beyond my original question. I will miss that going forward but most of all I will miss this Gentle Man.

I knew Nathan through the Simsbury Camera Club. He was enthusiastic about his art, generous in sharing his knowledge, creative in everything he touched. We will miss his wry humor and warm presence. His passing is a great loss to our community.

I will miss seeing Nathan in the neighborhood.  You couldn't put an age on Nathan or Zahava.  Two of the sweetest people you'd ever meet.  Full of energy.  My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

We were shocked to hear about the bad news of Nathan's passing.
It is hard to believe that two months ago we were visiting them in Simsbury, stayed in their house and enjoyed Nathan's company and his wisdom. 
It is hard to believe that we will not be able to hear his voice see his face on Skype. 
Our friendship started in 1978, as we spent a sabbatical year at UCON and since then we continued our friendship either in Simsbury or Nathan and Zahava visits in Israel.
We are sending our condolences to Zahava, their children and grandchildren, wishing then NO MORE SORROW.   
Dear Zahava, we know that it is not easy, but stay strong and enjoy your beautiful family.
We love you and so does your whole family.

It is with great sorrow that I read this.  Nathan was an incredibly kind person, so very considerate, a wonderful photographer, and such a loving father and husband always so proud of his family; and, a good friend to all he met.  I met Nathan thru the Simsbury Camera Club and always cherished his friendship.  Rest in peace, dear friend, we will miss you.  I will miss your friendship.
