Nathan Norman Schwartz

Schwartz-Nathan, of Newton, MA, passed away on March 15, 2015. Beloved husband for 58 years of the late Eleanor (Fertel) Schwartz. Devoted father of Elliot Schwartz and his wife Leslie of Easton, MA, Jeffrey Schwartz and his wife Kim of Sudbury, MA, and Richard Schwartz of Lexington, MA. Proud grandfather of Laura and her fiancé Anthony, Andrea, Jonathan, Betsy, Anne, Matthew, Jacquelyn, and Julia. Loving brother of the late Abraham “Herbie” and Arthur Schwartz. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon St., Brookline, MA, on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 12:30 pm. Following interment, memorial observance will be at the home of Elliot and Leslie Schwartz until 9 pm, and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial observance will continue Friday from 2-4 pm at Nathan’s late residence, and Saturday evening at the home of Jeffrey and Kim Schwartz and at the home of Elliot and Leslie Schwartz from 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nathan’s memory may be made to Perkins School for the Blind, Reading Book Library, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or a charity of your choice.
