I knew Neal many years ago through a mutual friend.  He was such a special person who was always smiling.  He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.  My deepest condolences to his wife, family and close friends.

I am stunned, saddened and at a loss over the news of Neil's passing.  Neil was a very close friend during significant years in my life.  To say I loved his family is an understatement!  Neal and his family really taught me many things, including the importance of laughter and bagels. Ken used to say he wished he had never introduced me to lox.  For a long time, I felt part of this family.  I am so shocked to learn of everyone's passing.  Tony, if you read this, it is Cindy.  I'm sending you hugs.  I wish they all could have stayed around longer.  The world would be a happier place.  To Neil's wife, my deepest sympathy.  I'm sure Neal made you laugh every day.  Keep those memories.

I WISH I SPENT MORE TIME WITH NEAL AND WE WERE CLOSER TO EACH OTHER AS KIDS WE SPENT TIME TOGETHER BUT AS WE GREW UP WE GREW APART.  I HAD A VERY CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS FATHER BECAUSE HE WAS MY DENTIST AND COUSIN I AM IN TOTAL SHOCK THAT WE LOST NEAL ALSO AMONG HIS MOTHER AND HIS BOTH SISTERS TO THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE. I worked with Neal for many years at BayBank, BankBoston, and Fleet. Neal was that rare breed of person who became more than a coworker...he became a friend. I am incredibly sad to find out that we have lost such a special person. My thoughts and prayers go to his loving family.

I have known Neal since 1999 and even had the privilege of working for him for four years. He was smart, funny and well respected. He was role model for me and a confidant. Proud to say, I was a big fan.

I worked with Neal for many years at BayBank and have such fond memories of his smile, good humor,and smarts. He took everything in stride and made you feel he could manage anything that came his way. He was a genuine, caring person - the best they come. We have lost a good soul.

I am so sorry to hear of Neal's passing.  I worked with him at Congressman Markey's office.  He was a great colleague.  "The eagle has landed."  Neal will know what that means!

While I did not know Neal for as many years as others here, I can say that he was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.  Always smiling and had such a positive attitude towards everything and everyone.  He will surely be missed by all that he knew...

Ling, Kinuyo and I were so saddened to just learn today about Neil's passing. We were so happy to have you as our new next door neighbors. Neil has always been so friendly and sincere and thoughtful. We will miss him.

The world lost a  smart, caring, and truly generous person.....with the twinkle in his eye and smile on his face, one had to be quick to keep up with my cousin Neal.  There are no words that truly convey how much he will be missed.

Ling, while I did not have a chance to meet Neal, from the messages here it seems he was a great guy!  Knowing a bit about you and how much he meant to you, I can only imagine the loss you are feeling.  Please accept my honest condolences.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Neal's passing. I remember his good cheer during our BayBank days...even during some long nights. He was a wonderful guy to work with.  My heartfelt sympathies to his family.

Neal was a trusted mentor, colleague, and friend to me since we began working together at BankBoston. His knowledge, charismatic personality and support over the past 14 years has been constant and priceless. I will always treasure the many laughs and talks that we had. In my short time of knowing Neal, it quickly became apparent to me that he was one of the most engaging, spirited, witty, kind, respectable, humorous, intelligent and caring souls that I will ever have the good fortune and privilege to encounter.

Neal (as well as Ling) immediately became a very treasured member and delightful presence in my newly extended family. Neal's great company and character will never be forgotten and forever be cherished by all those who had the delight of knowing him. He will sincerely be missed.

Neal will be missed terribly by all those that knew him and certainly by me.  He brought a unique combination of intelligence, intensity and humor to every interaction. Neal was truly enjoyable to be around. 

We began working together at BayBank 20 yrs ago and that launched a great friendship that transitioned sales reporting and quarterly budgeting to Patriots games and Poker nights.  

I take some comfort that he is reunited with his beloved family now. My thoughts and prayers are with Ling and the rest of his family.

I worked with Neal on some projects a few years ago. I remember that he was very intelligent, kind and thoughtful. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

I had the pleasure of working with Neal for many years at the bank.  He was an incredibly kind, caring and compassionate man - as well as extremely intelligent.  Neal was a true gentleman in every way.
