Dear Amy and beautiful Penelope,  I can only say that every interaction with Amy & Phillip has been a joy. He was excited for his daughter to come. I remember him saying how he hoped she looked just like her mom, and had her mom's brilliance. He adored Amy. Life has a way of doing hard mysterious things, while my heart breaks for Phillip, and his family, I know his love remains in Amy &  Penelope. I know she will grow up and have some of his quirks, and Amy will love seeing them. May every day bring more peace, and one day may you feel the full joy of life as I know Phillip would want nothing less. Prayers and love to you all. When I was in Hebrew School, I was always rebelling on the Sabbath. One Saturday, Mrs. Gerstein told me to sit with Phil. Phil taught me the Vyahafta that day, which is very difficult to spell in English I'm finding!!! I can hear Phil's voice in my head.

We reconnected at our mutual friends' Dave and Sara Yoss's house in New Hartford in the college and post-college years -- with good beer and awesome conversations. 

Phil was friends with my brother Sol, and sisters Raina, and Julie.

Here at Diversified Technologies, we all loved Phil.
He was always a shining light with a beautiful smile.  That smile and light became even brighter when his wife became pregnant.  Phil was bursting with excitement.
I had not seen him after the birth of his daughter.  I can imagine the happiness he felt for her and his dear wife.
We will always remember him with fondness.
My heart felt condolences for all his family and relatives.

I will miss you my friend. I have had the pleasure of both skating with you and against you. You are a fierce competitor but also have a lot of fun playing hockey. The Booze Brothers locker room won't be the same without you and that giant smile. I know you will keep and eye over Amy and Penelope. Rest in Eternal Peace my friend until we face off again.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.  There simply aren't words to express my sympathy for you.  But know that I am thinking of you and may your fond memories bring you comfort.

Phil had a smile that could cheer up the biggest curmudgeon in any room. His whole face lit up with joy and you couldn’t help but smile a little with him. 

I didn’t understand who Phil was when I first met him. But it didn’t take long after seeing him and Amy together to understand that he was just a really genuine dude who really cared about her. Sure, maybe he had some stinky sports gear, and really had no idea how to cook, but he knew how to make Amy happy and how to take care of his family.

Today there’s a little less brightness in the world but I have a hunch that we’ll see some of that brightness in Penelope’s smile, some of his warmth in her hugs, and some of his brilliance in her future.

Hello Amy, Penelope, Family and Friends of Phil,

There are no words to express the shock and sadness for you all during such trying times!  I had the pleasure of designing a circuit board for Phil and what a joy it was.  By far,  Phil is at the top of the list when it comes to kindness, class and sincerity!  He made my job easy and enjoyable and taught me the "DO's" and "Don'ts" with DTI protocols as I was fairly new to the company.  He always went out of his way to see how his co-workers were doing both personally and professionally.  I have never seen Phil since I have known and worked with him without his face lit up with a huge smile.
 
He will be fondly remembered and terribly missed.
"May GOD BLESS you all"....and may Penelope get to know her amazing Dad through all your wonderful memories.

I have so many memories of Phil.  Walking with him to his "secret" lunch spot and chatting about getting married, becoming a dad, buying a house, Letterkenney.  Playing soccer with the DTI crew.  Phil teaching me how to throw a rugby ball.  MANY drives to new hampshire to visit vendors for work.  My fondest memory though was traveling to California for work and CONSTANTLY quoting "THE CALIFORNIANS" with Phil and Luan.  Next time I have to take the 404 to the 2 I'll be sure to stop by "Tre's Bungalow" good buddy!

I am devastated for you all, especially thinking of Amy and Penelope.
