Phyllis Shycon

Wife of the late Harvey N. Shycon, daughter of the late Sylvia and Saul Nectow. Sister of the late Leonard (Carol) Nectow. Mother of Ellen S. Cohen of Scarsdale and Robert Shycon (Linda Dell) of Northampton. Grandmother to Sara (Justin) Schmidt, Amy R. Cohen, and David Shycon. Great-grandmother to Jonah, Simon and Calla Schmidt.

Phyllis grew up in Waban and attended Connecticut College, Class of 1949. She and Harvey lived and raised their family at 39 Devonshire Rd, Waban from 1958 to 2006. She died peacefully at age 94 at Newbridge on the Charles in Dedham, where she lived for thirteen years. A private graveside service was held at the Temple Israel cemetery in Wakefield.
