

Robert J. "Bob" Sheinfeld, of Framingham died on Monday, February 8, 2021. He married the love of his life, his beloved Arlene “Honey” (Weinstein) on March 3, 1956 and together he and Honey were married for almost 65 years. They spent their entire married lives in the one and only house they have ever owned in Framingham, MA. Bob was the father to Ellyn & her husband Gary and Steven and his wife Patricia. Grandfather to Rebecca, Zachary & Matthew Sheinfeld and Sydney Hajduk. Brother to Zeldon Sheinfeld & his wife Linda, Alan Sheinfeld and Mitchell Weinstein & his wife Camille. Uncle to Mark, Stuart, Scott, Seth & Alex (and their spouses). Bob was nephew to his dear Aunt Eunice who was just seven (7) years older than him and like a big sister.
Bob started in the newspaper industry at 13 years old as a copy boy for the Record American newspaper. Over 40 years later, working all those years for the Hearst Corporation, Bob worked his way up to Director of Advertising for the Boston Herald until retirement. After retiring, Bob worked at Sassamon Trace Golf Course in Natick as a starter until just recently. He loved spending time on the course, running multiple leagues, as well as playing regularly. Bob spent his winters in Hallandale, Florida where he swam, enjoyed the beach and sun. Bob loved Boston and was passionate about the city. He loved watching his beloved sports teams and for years regularly attended Bruins and Celtics games.
Bob and Honey have an amazing group of friends that have been together since they were teenagers. Endless dinner parties and special moments define their friendships through the years. His friendships extended to his lifelong bonds with his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to the current health crisis, funeral services are private.
