Robert N. Snider, of Needham, formerly of Newton and Centerville on Monday, May 5, 2014. For 71 years, he was the beloved husband of the late Miriam R. (Rubin) Snider. Loving father of Dr. James Snider & his wife Susan of Brookline and the late Betsy Gross and her surviving husband Dr. Peter D. Gross of Wayland. Cherished grandfather of Melissa McCray & her husband Jonas, Andrew Gross & his wife Jacki, David, Rachel and Sarah Snider. Great grandfather of Carter, Brandon and Cannon. Dear brother of the late Melvin Snider and Edith Rothstein. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Services at Temple Shalom of Newton, 175 Temple Street, Newton on Wednesday, May 7 at 11:00am. Interment at Beit Olam Cemetery, Wayland. Memorial observance at the home of James & Susan Snider following the interment until 4:30 & 6:30-9pm, Thursday 1-5pm & 6:30-9pm (minyan at 7:30pm each day) and Friday 12-3pm.
