Ross A. Seider

Ross A. Seider, of Needham, on December 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Bonnie Seider. Devoted father of Scott Seider and his wife, Amanda Seider, and Wendy Seider and her wife, Gloria Bruce. Cherished grandfather of Theo, Damon, Naomi, and Isaac. He was the son of Seymour and Selma Seider, and the older brother of Daniel and Michael Seider.

Ross was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1969 and then moved to Boston where he worked as an engineer and executive for a number of different companies including Motorola and Akamai. He met Bonnie in 1970 on Cape Cod, and they were married in 1973. Ross loved crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Cape Cod, sailing, the Patriots, and spending time with his grandchildren. Ross and Bonnie celebrated their 50 th wedding anniversary in July of 2023 with their children, grandchildren, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Temple Aliyah, 1664 Central Ave, Needham, on Thursday, December 7 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.

The family will be sitting shiva at Bonnie's home between 7:00-9:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ross may be made to a charitable organization supporting relief efforts in Ukraine such as Direct Relief, Mercy Corps, International Medical Corps, International Committee of the Red Cross, or Save the Children.
