Roxanne (Bernstein) Marcus, of Toronto, Canada, formerly of Queens, New York on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. For 49 years, she was the beloved wife of Howard Marcus. Loving mother of Craig & Julie Marcus of Chestnut Hill and Scott Marcus & Amy Winthrop of San Francisco. Adored grandmother of Ella, Spencer, Lena, Kylie and Nora. Cherished daughter of the late William & Blanche (Blones) Bernstein. Dear sister of Marshall Bernstein. A retired professor of 38 years in Spanish Literature at York University in Toronto. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Sunday, April 13 at 1:00pm. Burial in Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham St., Sharon. Memorial observance immediately following at the home of Craig & Julie Marcus through 8pm on Sunday and continuing on Monday April 14 from 11am-3pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Pan Mass Challenge, which raises money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Michael Kramer will be riding in her memory.
