

Sarah P. Raine (Polimer) of Dedham, formerly of West Roxbury, suddenly and peacefully at 93 years of age on Monday, September 3, 2012. Loving mother of Alden S. Raine and his wife Erica of Brookline and Marcia Raine Binney and her husband David of Seattle. Cherished Grandma of Joanna Raine Binney and Jessica, Geoffrey, and Emily Raine. Loving wife for 44 years of her late husband Sydney Raine, who passed away in 1987.Beloved daughter of the late Max Polimer and Frances Salden Polimer. Dear sister of the late Arthur “Sonny” Polimer. Devoted daughter-in-law of the late Max and Annie Raine. A fond cousin, aunt, and friend to so many, and an inspiration to all. Sarah grew up in Dorchester and was a Bostonian through and through. A graduate of both Radcliffe College and Hebrew Teachers College, she was a Jewish educator at Congregation Beth El, Dorchester, and at her spiritual home of the last five decades, Temple Emeth. Services at Temple Emeth, 194 Grove Street, Chestnut Hill on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Interment at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Memorial observance will be at NewBridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Road, Dedham on Sunday, September 9, 11:30am-2:30pm and Monday, September 10, 4:00-7:00pm.
