Dr. Sheldon Strauss of Needham on Friday, February 19, 2016. For 55 years, he was the beloved husband of Judith (Bernstein) Strauss. Cherished father of Stacey & Rich Moran of Millis, Debbie & Brian Kudish of Franklin, and Michael & Angela Strauss of Chesapeake, VA. Adoring grandfather of Harry, Max, Samantha, Allison, Matthew, Joey and Liza. Services at Temple Emanuel, 385 Ward St. Newton on Monday, February 22 at 11:30am. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon. Memorial observance in the function room at his late residence, 100 Rosemary Way, Needham, immediately following the burial through 9pm, continuing Tuesday 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4. Dr. Strauss was a well respected and beloved Optometrist for over 50 years.
