Beloved wife of Yan Kaplan, also dearly departed. Devoted mother of Anatoly and Alexander. Cherished grandmother of Eugene and Jean. The loving sister of Evgeniya Tsents, also dearly departed. Dear daughter of the late Naum and Maria Kupershmidt.
She grew up in Brest, graduated from Brest Pedagogical University, and raised her family in Brest and later St. Petersburg. She taught primary school for most of her adult life. She was a dedicated member of the Jewish community and participated for many years in activity clubs, singing and dancing for the elderly community. She cherished the time she spent with friends and family, and she was blessed with many of both.
A graveside service will be held at Shara Tfilo Cemetery, located at 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA. The service is scheduled for October 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
