Steve Michael Cohen of Newton, age 57, predeceased by his mother Fay Cohen, his father Saul and his sister Deborah. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Read and his cousins James and Merle Grandberg and Kenneth and Marcy Grandberg. Proud father of his 2 Chihuahuas, Cyndi and Poppy. Steve was a true collector of comic books and novelties.
A funeral service will be held at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Thursday, April 23 at 10:30am. Burial at Mishkan Tefila Cemetery, 2690 Centre Street, West Roxbury.
Following the burial, memorial observance will be held at the home of James and Merle Grandberg until 8:00pm and on Friday from 2-5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Medfield Animal Shelter, 101 Old Bridge Street, Medfield, MA 02052, www.medfieldshelter.com.
