He was the beloved husband of Frances Platten. Devoted father of Steven Platten & his wife Sheryl of Newton and Paul Platten & his wife Pamela of Newton Centre. Loving brother of Sandra Borkum & her husband Sumner of Plymouth & FL and Arlene Baxter of Pittsburgh, PA. Cherished grandfather of Jaclyn & Robert Bralower, Rachel Platten & Kevin Lazan, Justin Platten and Melanie Platten. Stepfather of George & Maureen Scala of Stoughton and Marilyn Kelly of Stoughton.
He was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
Funeral services will be Thursday Oct. 18 at 10:00 A.M. at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., BROOKLINE, MA. Interment to follow at Temple Emeth Memorial Park.
Shiva will be at the home of Pamela & Paul Platten on Thursday from 7-9 PM.
