Susan, beloved daughter of Pearl G. (Miller) And the late A. Benjamin Needel. Loving sister of Nancy L. Needel, of Newton Centre, MA.
Her career spanned more than 30 years in the world of semiconductors and supply chain management - with some of the largest forces in the chip industry. She managed a worldwide team of 50 people; maneuvered people and products through and after the 2011 Thailand floods; and the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan. As a result, she saved lives along the way.
Susan has been enriched by all of her life experiences and especially loved vegetable gardening, and her miniature Dachshund’s and has developed lifetime friendships across the globe.
For her family, friends and colleagues our days will be less bright, but all the more richer for what she has brought into our lives.
Services will be held on Friday, April 14, at 10:45 AM at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA.
Shiva will be at the family home on Saturday April 15, 7-9 PM, continuing Sunday, April 16, 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM and on Monday April 17, from 2-5 PM.
