William S. Hellman, Age 84, of Arlington, MA formerly of Brooklyn, NY on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Rhona Phyllis (Rosenberg) Hellman. Loving father of Ronald Hellman of Boston and Adrian Hellman & his wife Penelope of Newton. Cherished grandfather of Phillip George Hellman. Dear son of the late Isadore and Ruth (Greenfield) Hellman. Mr. Hellman was a retired Professor of Physics at Boston University. He was a graduate of Brooklyn College and received his doctorate from Syracuse University.
Services at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham Street, Sharon on Friday, November 27 at 12:00 Noon. Memorial observance will be at the home of Adrian and Penelope Hellman on Saturday evening from 5-8:00pm and on Sunday 4-7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
