Achille Minetti

Beloved husband of the late Concetta. Loving father of Orlanda & Joe Balsamo, Romilda & John Deliso, John Minetti and Frank Minetti. Dear grandfather of John Deliso & Hannah McGinley, Tina Deliso & Sal Festa, Lucia Deliso, Gabriella Balsamo, Angelina Minetti and Giovanni Minetti. Dear brother of Giovanna Minetti, Raffaele Minetti and brother-in-law of Rosetta Minetti and Geraldine & Joe Gambale. Achille is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Achille was a skilled carpenter by trade, specializing in the fine art of custom cabinetmaking. He was the former proprietor of Minetti's Hardware Store on 20th Avenue in Brooklyn. He is also a huge sports fan: A big Yankee Baseball and Ranger Hockey fan. And of course, who could forget about his love of his favorite football club: S.S.C. NAPOLI!

In his spare time, Achille enjoyed making his own homemade wine, drinking his Carlo Rossi vino and eating his prosciutto and macaroni and clams. He will be truly missed by all that loved and knew him!

A visitation for Achille will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Wednesday 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church. Entombment to follow, alongside his beloved Concetta, in Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island, NY.
