Anna Vogel

Anna Vogel, a cherished and compassionate individual, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 12, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Anna was a devoted and faithful member of her community, residing in Brooklyn throughout her life.

Anna's career as a Home Health Aide for Catholic Charities was marked by her gentle and generous spirit. She was known for her honest and humorous nature, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Her kind-heartedness and loyalty were evident in her interactions, and she was admired for her patient and resilient character.

In her personal life, Anna was selfless and thoughtful, finding joy in simple pleasures such as reading and walking and talking on the phone with family members. Her love for these activities reflected her appreciation for life's quiet moments and her enduring connection to her surroundings.

Anna is survived by her children Charles Vogel, Florence Leiva, William Vogel, Jamie Vogel (Giordano) and her husband Vincent Giordano.

Grandmother to Adriana Rodriguez (John Rodriguez) and great-grandmother to Leeahna Rodriguez.

Visitation services will be held at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, located at 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. The visitation will take place on December 10, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, as well as on December 11, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 3620 Tilden Ave, New York, NY 11203, on December 11, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Anna Vogel will be remembered for her selfless dedication and the warmth she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and thoughtfulness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
