

Carmelo "Carmine" Anthony Favara, 71, of Morganville, NJ, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Carmine was born on January 22, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony and Anna Favara. He graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1965. Carmine began his career as a pattern maker and then was employed as a postal worker. He was a decorated Army Veteran who proudly served in Korea during the Vietnam era. He was an avid classic car collector, loved dearly by his family and friends. He was a true family man who loved to spend quality time with family and friends and always had a unique way to fill the room with laughs and smiles.
Carmine is survived by his wife Chrisie of 29 years, daughter Stephanie, son Anthony, brothers Mario and Anthony Favara, sister Betty Ann Sieczkowski, and many loving cousins and extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 20 Hillcrest Road, Holmdel, NJ.
