Catherine M. Fox

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine. She left this world on March 2, 2026 at 84 years old surrounded by the love she gave so generously throughout her life.

Born in Brooklyn, New York on November 30, 1941 Catherine found joy in caring for her family and friends, creating moments filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support.

She is survived by her daughter Karan Simoneau, son in-law Joe Simoneau, her grandchildren Ryan and Drew Simoneau, her sibling Michael Volpe and his wife Karen, her nieces, nephews and many family members from the Volpe, Colantuono and Fox families who will continue to cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Marie Volpe.

Though we feel the profound ache of her absence, we take comfort in knowing that her love remains with us always. Her light continues to shine through all of us who were fortunate to have known her.

Visitation will be held at M.J. Smith Sons, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215, US, on March 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 245 Prospect Park W, Brooklyn, NY 11215, on March 7, 2026, at 10:30 am.
