Clara Brodsky Willner was born on May 12, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Harry Brodsky and Lisa Landa Brodsky. She received a diploma from Erasmus High School and was graduated a bachelor of arts by Brooklyn College. In 1946, she married the love of her life Ted Willner. Clara is survived by her children Sandra Willner Horowitz (Steven Horowitz) and Arthur Willner (Helayne Antler Willner), grandchildren Jeanne Horowitz (Matthew Huff), David Horowitz (Kendal Stavros Horowitz), and Alex Willner, and great grandchildren Tom, Jessica, Joshua, Theo, and Willow. Clara was well known for her kindness, intelligence, and love of storytelling, reading, piano, teaching, and travel. Private graveside services will be held on Friday, August 15 at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Clara Willner to the Anti-Defamation League.
