ESCOBAR, Delfin 65 of Manizales, Colombia passed away on Friday November 20, 2015 surrounded by his family. His memorial Mass will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angel 2978 Ocean Parkway Brooklyn at 10:30am. Delfin was born on June 20,1950. When he was 18 years old, he joined the Colombian Army and served as a paratrooper. He came to New York in 1970 and worked for DC9 Painters Union until he retired in 2012. He enjoyed reading, had a creative mind and most of all loved spending time with his children. Delfin is survived by his four children: Marlon, Yoliciel, Yadira and Yesenia.
