Edward was the son of Augusto and Maria Carma, immigrants from Portugal. Although Ed was born here in the US he had many fond memories of visiting Portugal.
Ed had many interests back in the day including baseball (dedicated Yankees fan), bowling, golfing, and skiing. One of his favorite places was the beach, especially in Cape May NJ and Aruba. Another favorite destination was his brother’s house in Saugerties, NY.
Throughout his career he held many different positions, but his favorites were doing electrical work with his brother Danny and maintenance at Independence Bank.
A devoted husband for 35 years, Ed is survived by his wife Michele.
Ed is also survived by his nieces, his nephew, and their families: Denise, Jerry, Matthew, and Katie, Doreen, Kendall, and Michael, Dennis and Dawn, Cindy and her son Steven.
Ed was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Augie, Danny and Joseph, and his nephew David.
Ed’s good nature, love of family and his laughter will be deeply missed but our memories will be cherished forever.
