With much sadness we announce the death of Henry Cortes, 78 on February 12, 2025. Hens was a resident of Brooklyn, NY and Wellfleet, Ma. He leaves behind his wife Barbara, daughter, Sarah, son Nicholas, granddaughter, Chloe, lots of laughter, kindness and true friendship. Hens spent much of his working life in the high-rise buildings of New York City, but his passion and love was sailing on Cape Cod and - often to his family’s dismay – he sailed in all kinds of weather.
Our family is grateful to know that Henry is finally at peace.
